Who We Are
We are a local integrated development and community foundations support nonprofit organization in Ghana, established in 2014 by nine local leaders. We are registered as a Company Limited by Guarantee in accordance with the laws of Ghana. Our work grows from a shared commitment to strengthen communities and create opportunities for people we serve to improve their lives independently.
What We Do
We play an intermediary role bringing together donors, development partners and beneficiaries to promote social progress. Through collaboration and shared investment, we provide enabling levers of change that increase the capabilities and capacities of our target population to achieve resilience. Our approach helps individuals and communities build resilience, pursue independent livelihoods and participate in economic and social spaces, leaving no one behind.
Where We Work
Our organization is based in Tamale in the northern region of Ghana. As a licensed National Nonprofit Organization, we have mandate to implement projects in any part of Ghana. This allows us to work in diverse communities and support initiatives that create long-term impact.
How We Work
We work with community groups, co-operatives and other community collective social structures to make wide-scale sustainable impact. In communities where do not exist, we facilitate the development functional collective groups and work with them. We strengthen and work with existing collective groups and social structures called initiative groups. We also work with other local Civil Society Organizations to implement the development of Community foundations in Ghana.

What does PureTrust Foundation do?
We work to advance the economic security and social inclusion of disadvantaged communities in Ghana. Our programmes focus on food security, education, health, gender and child protection, livelihoods, financial inclusion, and the development of community foundations.
How do you ensure transparency and accountability?
We are guided by our core values of transparency, participation, and care. All our projects are community-driven, our finances are independently audited, and over 80% of funds go directly into programmes.
