Social Wellbeing

We strengthen essential community systems so families can live healthy, protected and fulfilling lives.

Our holistic Social Well-being programme is an overarching intervention that enhances the physical, educational, social, and rights-based well-being of vulnerable community members through integrated, community-centered interventions in education, health, WASH, rights advocacy, child protection and youth empowerment. The programme contributes to long-term resilience, dignity, and opportunity by ensuring that vulnerable communities have the knowledge, support, and services required to thrive.

Thematic Areas Under Social Wellbeing

Education

We support enrolment, retention, learning resources and community involvement so children remain in school.

Health

We create awareness on preventive health and support community screening and referrals.

Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)

We improve access to clean water through borehole repairs and hygiene education.

Gender Rights Advocacy

We promote dignity, inclusion and equal participation for women, youth and persons with disabilities.

Child Protection

We strengthen local protection structures and support families in identifying and preventing child abuse.

How We Work

Community Led Engagement

We work with community leaders, volunteers and parents who guide the process and sustain results.

Practical Awareness and Capacity Strengthening

Our approach focuses on simple, direct actions families can adopt, from hygiene practices to school support.

Strengthening Systems and Structures

We support the committees, groups and institutions that keep families safe and connected to essential services.

Impact and Results

After our community sessions, more parents are actively involved in supporting their children to stay in school. You can see a real shift in attitudes, especially among caregivers who now understand why education matters
