Our Food Security programme supports farmers with practical skills, locally adapted climate smart technologies and community driven solutions that help them increase product food crops and animals, and protect their land for the next generation.
Through climate smart agriculture, sustainable value chains and livelihood diversification, we help households improve food availability, access, and nutrition and food stability contributing to sustainable food security.
We facilitate the establishment community farmer learning fields where we promote conservation agriculture across multiple districts. These efforts improved yields, supported income and helped thousands of people build resilience against climate pressures.

Climate Smart Agriculture
We guide farmers in adopting good agronomic practices, conservation agriculture, agroforestry, soil health, and water management to combat climate challenges and improve yields.
Sustainable Value Chains Development
By strengthening farmer cooperatives, we ensure equitable access to resources, finance, and skills, turning local produce into reliable income sources for families.
Livelihood Diversification
We integrate small livestock, poultry, aquaculture, dry-season vegetables, beekeeping, and green economy options to help farmers expand beyond traditional crops.

Working with PureTrust Foundation has been a valuable opportunity that has strengthened my potential in the field of development work. I take particular pride in successfully implementing the Conservation Agriculture (CA) promotion initiative, a smart agriculture concept that has contributed to enhancing food security in our project communities. Farmers are adopting and practicing the technology in their cultivation of the promoted crops under CA.
